Dining

Booking is advisable if you wish to dine at The Wheatsheaf, however if a reservation hasn't been made just let one of our friendly staff know your dining requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate you as soon as possible; we hope you find the ambience and fayre to the highest standards. We rarely have to turn anyone away if your patience can last for 30 minutes or so.

Table reservations for larger parties of between 14 and 20 people can be made for in "The Mess". This room offers a little more privacy for our larger bookings for that special occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dining and Christmas 'get togethers'. Our modern Bistro menu below is refreshed regularly and diners also have the choice of seasonal daily specials, appetising roasts on a Sunday, a daily sandwich board and a wide selection of tempting home made desserts. Wherever possible we source the very best local produce and ingredients.

We have also introduced a Childrens Menu filled with healthy,scrummy favourites loved by the little people.
